Hidenori (Hide) was born in 1980 and grew up as a Buddhist. Now a practicing monk, he is busy with Buddhist duties while teaching Japanese drumming in his school to hundreds of people, including young children and adults. Also he has been performing as a percussionist in various concerts and productions ever since he went professional in Kyoto, Japan. His group, Hide & Keith, has performed in Bali, Indonesia and he has produced two CDs, pfat? in 2005 and Kukuruyuh in 2009. As a member of Wa San Bon, he was invited to perform and teach in Hamilton, NZ in 2009 and also in the Netherlands and Belgium in 2012. 

Hidenori was selected as a member of an artistic delegation sent by the Japanese government to Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan and Georgia in 2012.
